Hard to believe that August is half over!

Where as the time gone? Since my last posting, we have:
Been to Amarillo to celebrate Caleb's 1st Birthday

Gone on some short hikes near Bailey, CO...

and a 16 mile hike to Mirror Lake near Grandby, CO.
This hike took us approximately 8 hours, but we saw great waterfalls, amazing mountains, clear lakes, and overall absolutely amazing scenery.
A weekend of camping.

We've been to a couple of weddings and my 10 year class reunion, but I forgot to pull out my camera for these fun events. I love summer, it's sad that it is nearing it's end.

Pedal On!

Last weekend Justin and I participated in the MS 150, which is a two day - 150 mile bike ride from north Denver to Fort Collins and back. Both of us finished the ride successfully, but not without a sore back end. Here are some pictures of us on the ride.

New Church Addition

I was on the building committee for our church as we built onto and renovated the greeting area. Not that I know much about building, but I know a lot more than I did before I was asked to be on the committee. The church looks great and hopefully we can continue to update and remodel.

Jessi's Bachelorette Party

I headed to Malibu, CA last weekend to help celebrate Jessi's last month as a bachelorette. WIth the big day approaching, we needed to celebrate. We had a great time and who could complain when you have a house right on the beach.

Girls going out to celebrate "The final fling before the bling"
Pictures from our back porch. Thank you Sarah Babb for setting us up with sweet lodging.
On the last day we did some kayaking. The water was a little chilly, but not bad with the wetsuits. We managed to get pretty close to the dolphins in the kayaks. Absolutely beautiful!

Happy Easter!

This was Caleb's first of many Easter egg hunts in Burlington. It was pretty cold outside, so he waited patiently in the truck for the start of the hunt.

Caleb had an airplane Easter basket to help collect all his goodies.

Playing around at the house.
